If asked to define MPS Systems Asia recent activity in one word, it would be: growth.

Three new members were welcomed to our team, another new agent was signed, and our new office headquarters will be opening soon!

We’re also busy meeting up with the industry, and reaping the fruits from our efforts in new press sales, too.

Meet the new faces of MPS Systems Asia

Ramping up our service support is Alan Tan, joining us as our Applications Service Manager, and Budi Dermawan our new Regional Service Engineer based in Indonesia.

Alan brings a string of valuable experience as an Esko workflow expert, Service Manager in China, and managing an innovative label printer in Thailand.

From his experience as an engineer for Gallus, Budi will be a great asset to our engineer team, joining our other Regional Service Engineers Julius Urbano and Teh Chiau Khuang.

Helping me immensely with running our Kuala Lumpur office is Zee Cheng Tham (Cheng), as Office & Marketing Coordinator. Cheng will focus on administration, marketing, seminars and setting up our new location!

New headquarters and addition to MPS world-wide representation

Our new headquarters as of February 1st, 2019, also based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia features three floors with ample space for offices, meeting and seminar rooms and after renovations, a technology center with the EF flexo press as center stage (planned for May). Soon we’ll be hosting ongoing press demonstrations here in Asia!

Recently assigned as our new agent in China is Arisen, who is well connected to label printers, converters and the industry.

Spotted in the industry

Last month, the MPS Systems Asia team was delighted to receive in-depth anilox training from our partner Apex. Apex International is investing heavily in a new state-of-the-art production facility in Nashik – India to serve the narrow and wide web industry in the Middle East, India, South East Asia and the Pacific.

George Tan was also seen at the IPPF in Shanghai, China where he presented the challenges and opportunities of bringing the Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 to label printing.
