I recently started working at MPS Systems Asia at the beginning of June and feel proud to be a part of the team.

These times we are all going through is something we all could never have imagined - and is very hard times for billions of people and millions of companies worldwide.

At MPS, we’re very fortunate to support our customers with most of their requirements online. As the Regional Print Instructor for Asia Pacific, visiting our customers for training is not possible now. So being able to work from home is great, but limits what I can do.

We have daily meetings and are in contact with each other on any issues that arise. For example, I’ve been working with a customer based in South Korea with the need for specialized tooling required for a print job. I contacted various suppliers to come up with the best solution for them to run the job. Also, we’re taking care of issues such as laminating, corona treating and dyne testing, and ink issues which is currently with the ink supplier.

Mechanical, electrical or software press issues in addition to online sessions for upcoming customer press installations are handled by our knowledgeable team of Engineers: Julius Urbano, Teh Chiau Khuang and Budi Dermawan. They’re ready to help our customers anytime during the day or night. Together with our Global Service Desk - who can diagnose the presses remotely - all issues can be solved.

MPS Asia Service Team

We also have George Tan, our Regional Sales Manager responsible for MPS printing press sales along with Tim Klappe, our Managing Director who also takes care of the whole company. Zee Cheng Tham is our Marketing & Administration officer who is taking on global marketing communications and the general affairs for our Asia Pacific office.

Asia team-1

Together, we provide service that is second to none. We all strive for the best service for our customers, whatever their needs may be.

If you’re one of our customers or considering an MPS press, please feel free to contact us anytime. We’re more than happy to help!
