COVID-19 is significantly impacting all industries around the world.

Many companies are switching more of their business from offline to online. Before COVID, we never expected exhibitions could be organized virtually. And now, virtual exhibitions are the common alternative until we can meet again physically at an offline exhibition.

Recently, MPS participated in our first virtual exhibition: PackImpressions Virtual Packaging & Printing Expo 2020. The three-day exhibition gave MPS good exposure into the new virtual exhibition world, and it was really a great experience for us. As one of the sponsors, we received a virtual booth and a conference slot.

Slide1Welcome to the MPS virtual booth

When visitors entered the Exhibition Hall and came to our booth, they could view and download informative MPS resources including whitepapers, product brochures, and videos. Visitors could even chat with our representatives and follow us on social media.

Our team reacted immediately to visitors’ enquiries, just as we approach visitors face-to-face in an offline exhibition. This time without serving coffee or tea of course, but also no jet lag for both visitors and exhibitors!

MPS Booth PackImpressionsOn the first and second day of the event show visitors entered the Convention Hall to hear a presentation from Mr. Tim Klappe, MPS Managing Director of Asia Pacific. He spoke about how connectivity will disrupt and transform label print production and answered these key questions:

Youtube

  • What is Press Mirroring?
  • What benefits does it provide in label printing production?
  • How does connectivity bring label print production to the next level of productivity & profitability?

If you missed the session, watch this video of Tim delivering his presentation.

Conventional HallWe thank everyone who stopped by to visit the MPS stand at the PackImpressions virtual expo, and for tuning in to hear Mr. Tim Klappe speak about connectivity! But offline events will still have an important role as well. Seeing a label printing press running live or talking to people face-to-face makes a difference.
